Production Woodworker

This position is responsible for producing and finishing solid and veneered wood products using advanced machinery, hand tools, and sanding equipment. Production needs include but are not limited to customer orders, inventory, product samples, and product development prototypes.

Years of Experience- 0 to 3 years

Education Level- High School Diploma or Equivalent

Career Level-Staff

Hourly-$10.50 to 12.50/hour to start.


Producing and finishing solid and veneered wood components to custom specifications.

Ability to read, understand & follow Manufacturing Drawings (blueprints) and work instructions.

Ability to lift 50-75-lbs regularly

Working knowledge of industrial woodworking machinery is helpful, but not required including:


Table Saw

Miter Saw


Wide Belt Sander

General knowledge of hand tool use.

Responsible for product quality.

Responsible for the safety and well-being of yourself, as well as all associates within the facility.

Accountable for maintaining the appearance of the factory floor.

Other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.


Required Skills

High School Diploma or GED required

Some knowledge of wood products and finishing

Must have excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
